Welcome to FINE EXISTENCE - Website Progress Blog.

As I began to realise that the website development process cannot be completed as fast as I wished, I have decided to maintain a blog to record my progress.  Even if no one else is interested in reading, this will serve as an encouragement for my efforts.

I heard someone say on tv one day and like it very much..."Life is wonderful.  Embrace it and enjoy all special moments."

This blog has been moved to http://fineexistence.blogspot.com with effect from September 22, 2007.  This is to provide a more interactive blogging style.

50% rate cut!  US market rallied after the announcement yesterday.  Today, the Asia and Europe markets followed suit.

"Procrastination is the Thief of Time"... indeed.  Progress has been slow..oh well, there are no visitors anyway.  So, it's ok - I'm not disappointing anyone.  But I won't gave up on this (at least not yet..).

It's early Tuesday morning.  When I first logged on to work on my website, it shows no signs of my previously created pages.  GASP!!  My heart nearly popped out.  All my hardwork in the past week gone to waste?  Does Google Page Creator clear out all pages after 1 week?!  I signed out, and log back in again to find that the pages appeared again.  PHEW!!

Alright, now, it's time to build my momentum and fill up somemore of my pages.

The stock markets around the world are largely (if not all) down today.  Investors and traders are waiting to see what the Fed's decision might be.  Will there be a rate cut? 25% or 50% cut?  Will it be a half-hearted attempt to rescue the market?

Readers (if any at all) will expect to see a slowdown in my website development as I try to put my thoughts in better order and reorganise my postings before publishing the revised versions.

Oh well.. I just checked the page counter and notice the trickling, pathetic count at 24 - probably mostly from my own testing of the page.  Maybe no one is bothered to read my sharings, maybe there are better sites that I do not know about, maybe people are more enticed by the get-rich-quick schemes rather than having to put in hard work, maybe, maybe, maybe..

I went out shopping earlier this afternoon.  It has been a while since I had retail therapy.  It felt really good especially in a pretty depressing day.

It's Sunday!  Given myself a break from this web creation project.  It's been a while since I work so hard on any projects.

Heard a news that a family friend is suffering from the final stage of cancer, with less than a month to live.  She is a very wealthy lady who is in her late fifties.  When she was well, she would be driving around in her rolls royce or travelling to luxurious places of the world.  She has recently commented that if she could live much longer, she would like to travel and see more of the world.  Imagine!  A well-travelled, wealthy lady saying that..even she has regrets in her life.  Rumours has it that all her money will be donated upon her passing.  Bless her for having such a kind heart.  Hope she's happy during her last days and may her pain be lifted from her soon!

Another weekend is here.  Unlike the past few weekends, I am working today.  The stock markets are closed, my friends are calling for gatherings, the weather is excellent for a day by the beach.  But I am working on my new found project - FINE EXISTENCE website.

I have digressed from my travel page to set up the outline for the wealth accumulation page.  There are so much information to share in this section that my thoughts kept running even when I am breaking for meals or napping.

Stock markets, property, work tips, wines, collectibles, starting a business.....

I just realised that setting up a website is not so easy.  Like all other things, I want my website to be reasonably good, at least, it should appear professional enough.  First, you need to consider the layout, next the sections, then the content.  Even after after the content is set, the details need to be filled up.  The travelling page has been published but most of the links and contents are yet to be ready.  I have published it anyways..hopefully to hear from readers soon on what they wish to read first.  That should help me decide what to fill up first.

Please email to fineexistence@gmail.com if you have any views to share.  Thank you.

The Day when FINE EXISTENCE homepage was born.

It has been a while since I had a little dream of sharing my thoughts and learnings these years with everyone, be it in a book or website.    I was also doing some research on network marketing when I stumbled upon a chance to create a website for free using Google Page Creator.  It was late on a Thursday evening but I grabbed that chance immediately and created my very first website.  My thoughts started to flow in all at one go, wanting to share all I know in a succinct manner, so it would benefit others as well.

What I have to share?  My belief, my achievements to date, and my passions in life.  For the last 5 years, on and off, I have set it a personal aim to attain financial freedom so as to enjoy the little pleasures in life, to spend more quality time with my love ones before it's too late.  My grandparents died poor in their fifties.  My dad slogged all his life to give his family a better life, suffered from a prolonged illness in the later part of his life and got betrayed in business by his very own brother who absconded, and died before he turned 55.  Life is too short to get too caught up with the little unhappiness or hiccups in life.  Move on, and move on with grace.  If you don't, no one else will bother or have pity on you anyway.  It's your life, choose the way you live.

Why I want to share?  Over the last 5 years, I have worked hard to find out ways of accumulating wealth.  In the meantime, I had also been enjoying my life, travelling, enjoying the great wines and cuisines, maintaining my health, spending time with my loved ones.  I have met many obstacles during my journey, listening to bogus advices, signing up for trickster get-rich-quick programmes, contemplating if I should just resign to fate at times.  Gaining success takes hard work.  There is definitely no gain without a little pain.  If you are looking for a get rich quick method, this is NOT one of them.  What I am sharing are more direct ways to gaining success, with persistence and discipline required.  Cautions on things or people to avoid are also included for reference.  As mentioned, the little pleasures in life should not be sacrificed during this search for financial freedom.  I have also decided to share my money-savings tips when enjoying these pleasures.

My thoughts on what to share are pretty haphazard at this time.. Sections have been tentatively set at Health, Travels, Wines, Cuisines, Investments, Books.  I can't wait to complete the site and hope these sharings will benefit people who are aiming to achieve this same goal as mine.  Hope you will meet with fewer obstacles than I have.
